Full throttle into the Nürburgring anniversary: NLS calendar features eight races

The 2026 season of the ADAC RAVENOL Nürburgring Langstrecken Serie (NLS) is in full swing, and the green light is already showing for a historic year in motorsport: in 2027, the long-standing Nordschleife racing series will celebrate its 50th anniversary—coinciding with the 100th anniversary of the Nürburgring itself. This double anniversary makes the upcoming season a true milestone in the history of the “Green Hell.” A total of eight races are scheduled for the coming year. By announcing the dates early, the NLS provides teams, drivers, and partners with planning certainty and relies on proven structures for this anniversary year.

“Half a century of endurance racing on the Nordschleife is a historic milestone of which we are extremely proud—especially since we get to celebrate this anniversary alongside the Nürburgring’s centenary,” says VLN Managing Director Mike Jäger. “Since its inception in 1977, the series has retained its unique character on this iconic circuit while continuously evolving. Being able to present the calendar this early gives everyone involved full planning certainty regarding the familiar framework. This double anniversary year in 2027 will be a true celebration for all motorsport fans.”
