The Eifel region currently presents itself in the beautiful colours of autumn, so low-flying objects in turquoise blue must not be missing. By now at latest, the true VLN fans know that the team of Falken Motorsport will give its best again when this year’s last round of Germany’s most popular racing series will start this weekend. But top performance will not only be provided during the last round, the DMV-Münsterlandpokal race, on the last weekend of October, the Falken Drift Show in the Mercedes-Benz Arena at the Nürburgring Grand Prix Circuit will definitely fire up the fans also between the practice and the race.

Seven of the most successful drifting artists in Europe will hereby clearly demonstrate how spectacular the tyre rubber can be broken into its molecules. Amongst them is Remmo Niezen, the winner of this year’s drift challenge during the Tuner Grand Prix of VLN partner Sport Auto, Lars Verbraeken, Michel Ditmarsch (all in BMW E30), Matt Carter (Nissan Sylvia S15), Paul Cheshire (Nissan Skyline G35), Alan Green (Nissan 180sx), James Deane (Mazda RX7) and Marc Vissers (Nissan Skyline GT-R33). The show will start on Saturday morning at 10:30hrs.

After the Mercedes-Arena has been used for this magnificent spectacle for about 45 minutes, the starting signal will be given at 12 o’clock for the final VLN round. Martin Ragginer and Sebastian Asch will share the steering wheel in the Falken-Porsche GT3 R. Any they both will give their best again towards the end of the season. “We can look back onto a fantastic and exciting season. This year’s feedback was amazing. We know exactly what we owe our friends out there at the track and we will thank them all with a brilliant race”, promises Sebastian Asch and he adds: “As an exception, dark clouds can for sure be expected for the weekend. These clouds will, however, have a smell of rubber and they will have gone at the latest for the start at 12 o’clock.“
