The VLN has set up a donation account to support those affected by the tragic incident during the test and set-up run on Friday in the run-up to NLS4.
“The solidarity in the paddock was great on Friday evening and Saturday and I was spontaneously approached by many drivers, team bosses, partners and friends about how we could support the people and teams affected. For this reason, we decided in close consultation with those affected to set up a corresponding donation account as the VLN,” says VLN boss Mike Jäger.

Jäger continues: “As far as the state of health of the injured is concerned – we can only keep our fingers crossed and hope for a good recovery. The donations, on the other hand, will be used entirely to alleviate at least the monetary damage for all those affected and to cushion any follow-up costs that may arise. We are one big family at the Ring and stand closely together even in difficult times.”
