BS+COMPETITION celebrates two victories under the virtual Christmas tree

Munich-based sim racing team BS+COMPETITION gave themselves an early present: Felix Quirmbach and Jayden Conwright triumphed in their BMW M4 GT3 at the second race of the Digital Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie (DNLS). Elias Raikaa and Nils Koch followed suit in the BMW M2 Racing Cup class, securing their second consecutive victory. Just in time for the holidays, they now hold first place in the DNLS overall standings. Julian Reimer and Raphael Rennhofer of EMM Esports also celebrated their second consecutive win in the Porsche Esports Endurance Trophy Nürburgring (PEETN), finishing the first half of the season tied for the championship lead.

Falken Simracing (Lewis Woods and Sindre Setsaas) finished in second place. Mitchell deJong in the HRT Esports by Coanda Ford Mustang GT3 initially dominated the race from pole position. The American muscle car remained dominant throughout the middle stint. It wasn’t until the final stint that the BMW from BS+COMPETITION took the lead, winning by 5.683 seconds ahead of the opening race winners from Falken Simracing (Lewis Woods and Sindre Setsaas). HRT had to settle for third place.

A thrilling duel unfolded between two reigning champions: Finn Wiebelhaus, ADAC GT Masters champion, and Jay Mo Härtling, ADAC GT4 Germany titleholder. Härtling ultimately prevailed, piloting the MANN-FILTER Team by WWR Mercedes-AMG GT3, co-driven by Kai Hoffmann, to fifth place. Wiebelhaus finished eighth in the LionGP Fenster.com Ford Mustang GT3 with Balázs Erdélyi.

In the PEETN class, Rennhofer and Reimer provided some real holiday drama. After a starting collision, which they escaped unscathed, they dropped from third to ninth place. But the reigning DNLS champions fought their way back tirelessly and snatched victory in the final meters ahead of Gunonso Tasdelen and Adrian Gericke (frozenspeed by GNG). Eliott Vayron and Julien Soenen of Coanda Esports completed the podium.

The Finnish drivers Santeri Martikainen and Eetu Eskelinen prevailed in their BMW M4 GT4 against John Ehlen and Adam Isaksson of SimRC. Maddox-Max Schneider and Tim Jarschel (Falken Simracing) fought their way back to third place after a spin on the opening lap, securing a BMW 1-2-3 finish.

Behind the dominant winners of the BMW M2 Racing Cup class, Raikaa and Koch, Daniel Muth and Gregor Kinski of Nürburgring eSports finished second. Ben Reimer and Maximilian Kochendörfer of SCHERER eSPORT completed the podium.

After this thrilling start to the season, the series goes into its winter break. The third round of the Digital Nürburgring Endurance Series will take place on February 21, 2026.
