Every year, the Motor Show Essen attracts thousands of visitors who are coming to the Essen fairgrounds to see European’s biggest performance show for tuning, motorsport, sporting series vehicles, classic cars and motorcycles. Between 28th November and 6th December, about 500 exhibitors make the hearts of all the car lovers beat faster. It is without saying that the VLN endurance racing championship Nürburgring is also represented with a big stand at the Essen Motor Show. The design of the 60 square metres large exhibition area in Hall 6 reminds of the Nürburgring pit lane and will as always represent an important meeting point both for fans and participants.

One of the eye-catchers for the visitors of the VLN Stand is amongst others the winning car of the VLN Production Car Trophy of the season 2015, the BMW 325i of Stefan van Campenhoudt. The audience can moreover take a very close look onto the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 of ROWE RACING as well onto as a newer car of the Cayman GT4 Trophy by Manthey-Racing. The primary purpose of the VLN Stand, however, is to provide information on the series. All of the questions regarding the VLN season 2016 will be answered, technical staff will be available to explain the modifications in the 2016 regulations to the regular or to new participants, but also to interested fans.

Anyone wishing to take a look at the past VLN season will have the opportunity to study a highlight video on one of the ‘pit lane’ monitors. Those visitors who are looking for one or another Christmas present may also discover some items at the VLN stand. From T-Shirt to key ring, the merchandising collection actually has something to offer for everyone’s taste.

A lot of action is also provided by the VLN in the DMAX Motorsport Arena in Hall 7. A number of vehicles that are normally racing in the ‘Green Hell’ will go on to the track at the indoor circuit. And VLN drivers will be ready to answer all the questions of VLN track commentator Lars Gutsche in interviews.
