Rowe has entered a second SLS AMG GT3 for the ninth round of the VLN endurance racing championship, the ROWE DMV 250-Miles Race. “With our partner ROWE as title sponsor of this VLN race, we wish of course to present ourselves accordingly. So I am really delighted that we managed in the short term to have our second SLS at the start”, said Rowe Racing team manager Hans-Peter Naundorf. Lance David Arnold, Kenneth Heyer and Stef Dusseldorp will share the cockpit of the gullwing in the IGAT design that is carrying start number 9.

Dutchman Dusseldorp, who has until now mostly competed for Rowe in the Blancpain Endurance Series, will hereby make his debut in a GT3 race car at the Nordschleife. Arnold and Heyer have already successfully taken part in several VLN events for Rowe so they know the team and the track perfectly. The driver trio will start this Saturday, the 17th of October, together with their sister car with start number 7 and driven by Klaus Graf and Christian Hohenadel in a very strong field in class SP9.

Team manager Naundorf anticipates an exciting race in which the weather will also play a decisive factor: “The weather conditions in the Eifel again have changed many times during the last days. We’ve already had the first snow, we are expecting cool temperatures for Saturday and some rain showers. The strategy and a quick reaction on the prevailing conditions will be decisive for the positions in the race. We have two very experienced teams at the start and we will undertake all efforts again now at the end of the VLN season to finish on the podium.”
