The provisional calendar for the season of the 2015 VLN endurance racing championship at the Nürburgring has been released. The programme of this most popular grassroots series in Europe will next year again comprise ten races at the most beautiful and most demanding race track. The motorsport season at the ‘Green Hell’ will start on 28th March and conclude on 31st October 2015. Two VLN rounds will take place before the ADAC Zurich 24h Race which is scheduled to run from 14th to 17th May.
“From a point of view of the VLN, the provisional calendar is very well balanced”, says VLN Managing Director Karl Mauer (Üxheim/ Germany). “The ten races are evenly spread over the year. Before as well as after the 24h Race, there is enough time for all the teams participating in the classical endurance race in addition to the VLN to complete their preparations and their post-event work.”
A test and set-up session will be organised on 14th March to provide the VLN teams the opportunity to get perfectly prepared to the start of the season two weeks later.
