The VLN endurance Rating championship Nürburgring has won the readers award in the category „Best national grassroots racing series“. With a quorum of 62.7 percent of the votes cast, this unique racing series at the Nordschleife clearly dominated the competition ahead of the “German Touring Car Cup” and the “German Rally Championship”.
The award was presented to VLN Managing Director Karl Mauer during the official sport auto award celebration in Stuttgart/Germany and he said:“ On behalf of the whole VLN members and friends, I would like to thank you for this fantastic award. This prize is something really very special as it comes on behalf of the readers of the specialized magazine „Sport Auto“. This demonstrates how popular the VLN endurance Racing Championship is with the fans and we are of Course extremely delighted about this result.”
