The 6th round of the VLN endurance racing championship was again superiorly dominated by the team GetSpeed and their 911 GT3 Cup. Adam Osieka, Steve Jans and Christopher Mies again demonstrated that they are currently competing in a class of their own. They gained pole position and took the victory in their class.
In practice already, the team of the Performance Centre Meuspath was able to underline their pace and burned the fastest practice time into the asphalt at the Nürburgring. The start driver was team manager Adam Osieka who completely dominated his competitors right away.
“As always, our car is running perfectly and it was an easy job for me to control my rivals in the race. There was some more discipline out on the track this time, the excitement during the last weeks has calmed down a little. This does not apply to our cockpit because when you are sitting behind the steering wheel you really feel the high temperatures in the Eifel region.”
After the perfect start heat of Osieka, Steve Jans rejoined the race after the change of drivers. The talented driver from Luxembourg, too, completed a perfect stint. Jans herby definitely benefited of the excellent preparation and car setup of the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup which was performed by the team of the GetSpeed Performance Centers in Meuspath:
“Once again the team has done a fantastic job in the preparation and also here at the track. It is really great fun to take a seat in such a perfectly running car and to know that there is a highly professional team taking care of you and the car!”
The last stint of the race was again completed by Audi works driver Christopher Mies who, with the advance gained by his team mates, had just one job in the remainder of the race – to bring the car safely to the finish. The young and talented GT driver completed this task perfectly so that GetSpeed could celebrate another brilliant victory.
This was the fifth time in the season that the team from Meuspath near the Nürburgring finished the race as winners and they thus dominate the class of Porsche Carrera Cup vehicles almost at will.
During the practice and the race, important findings were furthermore again collected by the Stress Level Monitoring. The Stress Level data will be evaluated during the next days to be considered for the preparation of the drivers for the 6h Race on 23rd August.
