Team Dörr Motorsport won the 5th round of the TMG GT86 Cup, part of the VLN endurance racing championship at the Nürburgring. After a turbulent race, the TMG GT86 CS-V3 with start number 534 crossed the finish line in first position within the cup classification. Drivers Maciej Dreszer (Aachen/ Germany), Arne Hoffmeister (Lutter/ Germany) and Fabian Wrabetz (Bad Soden/ Germany) are quite happy, as is team manager Uwe Isert: “No problems at all, not the slightest damage and all the drivers showed top performances. And this even though the conditions were far from being easy. The Green Hell once again lived up to its reputation with very changeable weather conditions – Too dry for rain tyres and too wet for slicks”, said Isert.

The second car in the TMG GT86 Cup to take the chequered flag was the car with start number 531 of the team AMC Sankt Vith with drivers Olivier Muytjens (Belgium), Brody (Belgium), Bruno Barbaro (Italy) and Kurt Dujardin (Belgium). The top three were completed by the Toyota Swiss Racing Team with drivers Roland Schmid, Werner Schmid and Roger Vögeli (all from Switzerland).

Nico Ehlert, Principal Engineer Customer Motorsport: “We can be very happy with the running of the season so far. Even though the results are still provisional, the reliability of our race cars was once again confirmed. The TMG GT86 Cup provides fascinating motorsport in its second year as well. An attractive car, a high performance throughout the grid and exciting races characterize the first half of our make cup. We are delighted that we have once again prepared a package with the upgraded TMG GT86 CS-V3 that provides an excellent basis for all interested drivers to exercise their hobby at one of the most beautiful race tracks of the world at a good price-performance ratio.”
