The victory at the second round of the BMW M235i Racing Cup class went to Max Partl (DE) and Jörg Weidinger (DE) entered by the Team Scheid-Partl Motorsport. The „Eifelblitz“ dominated the close race and finished ahead of Emin Akata (DE) and Michael Schrey (DE) of the team Walkenhorst Motorsport and David Ackermann (DE), David Griessner (AT) and Jörg Wiskirchen (DE) of the team Rent2Drive Racing.
Johannes Scheid (team manager Scheid-Partl Motorsport, 1st place in the BMW M235i Racing Cup class): “A class win is always a fantastic result. The fight had become quite close again towards the end due to some yellow sectors but I never had any doubts that we would make it. The BMW M235i Racing did not have any problems and we are really happy with the car. Of course, there is always something to improve but we enjoy a very good support by BMW Motorsport in this matter. Things look quite good for us regarding the VLN overall classification but we are still too early in the season to make any predictions.”
