Only a few days to go and the new season of the VLN endurance racing championship Nürburgring will start. After the team of GetSpeed has scored a win in the classification for the Porsche Carrera Cup vehicles in 2013, the target for this year is more than clear: To defend the title. The calendar of the team from the industrial park at the Nürburgring for the first time also includes their participation in the 24h Race.

After a very successful first season, the team GetSpeed around Managing Director Adam Osieka wishes of course to build on last year’s victories. In their second racing year, the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup will again be in the focus of the motor sport activities, the winter break had been used for an extensive revision.

The team has scheduled to participate in all of the rounds of this most popular grass-roots series, the VLN endurance racing championship at the Nürburgring. The team from Meuspath near the Nürburgring has set itself the clear target to defend the title in the class for Porsche Carrera Cup vehicles. With Steve Jans, Christopher Mies and Adam Osieka, GetSpeed counts on the strong crew of last year – completely in line with the motto: “Never change a winning team!“ In view of the strong competition, the spectators will thus be able to enjoy exciting motor sport action at the most beautiful race track of the world.

A true highlight for GetSpeed will definitely be their first start at the legendary Nürburgring 24h Race in June. They will try to break the dominance of the GT3 and works racing cars. The 6h qualification race to take place in April is also on their calendar in order to then be perfectly prepared for the classical marathon race twice around the clock.

The GetSpeed Performance Centre is meanwhile also running at full speed. In order to satisfy the many requests from customers of the club and motor sport areas and to offer the well-known excellent service, the team was further strengthened by competent personnel over the winter period.

In addition, GetSpeed will organise the first own track day for street-legal vehicles and race cars on 3rd and 4th April at the Nürburgring Nordschleife, a perfect test and practice possibility before the 24h Race.

So GetSpeed is really ready to start into a promising season 2014 as confirms Managing Director Adam Osieka: “It is fantastic that the region around the Nürburgring now wakes up from its winter sleep. You can feel at each and every corner that the start of the season is imminent. GetSpeed is perfectly prepared. We are facing many exciting and new challenges after our positive first season in 2013.”
