The preparations for the VLN test and set-up session on 16th March are proceeding well. Due to the current weather conditions, the circuit management is in a position to carry on the works on the legendary asphalt circuit which were started in winter. Should the temperatures remain at double-digit figures, as is predicted, the unofficial launch of the season of the most popular grass roots endurance racing series in Europe should not be in danger.
The Nordschleife is mostly free of snow, there is only some snow still remaining in the run-off areas at some track sections. Those will have melted until the 16th of March provided that there is no sudden return of winter time.
