The French team BG Racing will start the 2013 season after some kind of reorganisation. The team around team owner Pascal Bour (France) will this year compete at the German traditional race track in the VLN endurance racing championship Nürburgring and in the 24h Race. BG Racing has previously mainly participated in the Porsche Carrera Cup in France.

A Porsche 997 GT3 Cup (manufactured in 2011) which was updated during winter and fitted with an ABS brake system as well as a paddle shift assembly will be entered. The modifications were carried out by Kremer Racing in Cologne who will also take care of the maintenance of the car during the season. The car will compete in class SP7.

In addition to team owner Pascal Bour who has already completed many races at the Nürburgring, the driver team will be made up of four further Frenchmen. Franck Bulté, Patrick Henry, Jean-Luc Deblangey and Nicolas Béraud, too, will contribute to the team with a lot of experience in Porsche race cars and at the Nordschleife.

Co-ordinator and team manager will be René Wolff (www.formula-event.com) from France who gained the VLN champion’s title in 2004. So far already fixed are the starts at the first three VLN rounds and at the 24h Race. The further schedule of the season remains to be decided. There are hence still some free cockpit places for the remaining VLN races.
