Uwe Alzen and his team Uwe Alzen Automotive will compete in this year’s VLN endurance racing championship season in a BMW Z4 GT3. The way has been paved for the new motor sport season. With the BMW Z4 GT3, Uwe Alzen Motorsport will join the strongest class in the VLN endurance racing series and go for the overall win in the championship. Like last year, the team will be supported by Philipp Wlazik as second driver.
Main sponsor is the long-year partner H&R suspension components based in Lennestadt. Dunlop will join the team as new tyre partner. Uwe Alzen and Dunlop can look back onto a long-year co-operation within BMW Motorsport where they had been able to contribute to a very valuable work of development. Like in the last years, Uwe Alzen will furthermore compete in races as works driver for BMW Motorsport. In this capacity, he will start in the 24 hour classical races as well as in some ALMS races in the United States.
