The contract between the VLN (Veranstaltergemeinschaft Langstreckenmeisterschaft Nürburgring) and the Nürburgring Automotive GmbH has been signed. After extensive negotiations, both parties have agreed on the almost unmodified continuation of their cooperation for the current season.
“We have come to an agreement with Jörg Lindner and Kai Richter, who represent the operating company of the Nürburgring, on a new contract covering ten races” says VLN managing director Robert Rust happily. The future of the most popular endurance racing series in Europe is thus assured for 2011. Rust informs that the negotiations have been “amicable and fair”. The discussions on a par have been concluded with a result which both parties can well live with.
The target of both the VLN and the Nürburgring Automotive GmbH is to continue providing popular racing at highest level at the most beautiful race track of the world. For this purpose, early negotiations shall commence to ensure a long-term continuation of the common efforts.
