The 2nd April will go down in history at the Nürburgring: The P4/5 Competizione will have its first race participation worldwide at the opening round of the VLN endurance racing series. The super sports car which was prepared by the three Italian sports car tuners LM Gianetti, N.Technology and Pro.To on the basis of a Ferrari 430 will be driven by the driver celebrities Nicola Larini, Mika Salo, Fabricio Giovanardi and Luca Capellari.
The initiative of this emotional and ambitious project goes back to the American financier and car collector Jim Glickenhaus who had ordered a specimen of the Ferrari Prototype P4/5 Pininfarina to be built for him in 2005 already. The idea to built further prototypes for racing at the Nordschleife was then quickly developed. The car is of course designed to be competitive in the races but the main focus lies on the passion to dedicate this project to the fans around the Nürburgring and thus cause their excitement.
At the beginning of the season, the P4/5 Competizione will be entered by the ‘Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus’ to several VLN races and then compete at the highlight of the season, the ADAC Zurich 24h Race.
