The team Falken Motorsports has scheduled to participate in five races at the Nürburgring this year. The Nürburgring Nordschleife is considered to be the most demanding race track worldwide and thus represents perfect conditions for the high performance tyres of Falken. The first VLN race to take place beginning of May will be the kickoff for the Falken Team and their new Porsche 911 GT3 R race car.
“Our main focus in racing will remain on the performance of our tyres in motorsport participations. We are closely connected to the Nürburgring since more than a decade and have entered an own team for the 24h Race since 1999 which we also support as sponsor”, describes Falken Marketing Director Satoru Ushida their motorsport engagement. “In the ears of the motorsport fans worldwide, the term ‘Nürburgring’ stands for a thunderbolt and we are very proud that this is a territory where our tyres feel very comfortable. We will of course use our participations in the VLN for testing and set-up purposes so that we are perfectly prepared for the 24h Race.”
