After ten days at the Essen Motor Show, the VLN takes a very positive summary. The unique racing series at the Nürburgring Nordschleife continues to be a matter of particular interest which was underlined by many expert discussions at the stand of the VLN Langstreckenmeisterschaft Nürburgring in Hall 6. Many participants are currently already planning their programme for next season and were provided with all relevant and updated details on the series by the VLN staff.
“Despite the current weather disturbances, the Essen Motor Show this year once again was a great success for the VLN”, said Managing Director Robert Rust. “Big compliments to the organisers! With more than 300,000 visitors, this exhibition is one of the major dates in the German motor sport calendar. The VLN itself has received a lot of positive feedback for its performance and we have been able to hold many important conversations.”
In addition to the information provided at the Motor Show, priority was also given to entertainment. At the best times of the day, different teams from the 2010 endurance racing series presented themselves and their 30 racing cars in an own paddock area at the indoor circuit in Hall 7. The VLN media partner ‘sport auto’ was responsible for the coordination of the show programme.
