The moment has finally arrived. On 25th September 2010, the Mercedes Benz SLS AMG GT3 will have its first race participation in the VLN Langstreckenmeisterschaft Nürburgring. The new SLS was developed by AMG in close cooperation with HWA AG. H&R has been the partner of HWA in the DTM (supplier) since 10 years. It is hence not a surprise that the car is also equipped with the light high-quality springs of H&R made of high-strength material. Since many years, the specialist of suspension components which is based in Lennestadt/ Germany has had a partnership with the popular endurance racing series VLN.
A better choice for this premiere at a race track could not have been taken. The new version of the SLS AMG will be able to demonstrate its racing properties and its performance at the legendary Nürburgring Nordschleife. The springs of the company H&R will contribute to achieve the desired performance and precision on the race track. This participation under racing conditions is a first appetizer both for the participants and the spectators before the SLS AMG GT3 will be delivered to the customers from February 2011, in time for the coming motor sport season. The entrance all around the Nordschleife is free. A fee of 12 Euro is charged for a seat on the grandstands of the Grand Prix Circuit and a visit in the paddocks.
