In 2009 already, the Touring Car Revival during the 51st ADAC ACAS H&R Cup had attracted spectators in great numbers to the Nürburgring. Inspired by this event, the VLN is planning additional supporting events this year.
The 50th Reinoldus-Langstreckenrennen (3rd of July) for example will host the Sport Auto Driftchallenge and fascinate the fans of the endurance racing championship with impressive manoeuvres and spectacular drifts. Two weeks later, on 17th of July, the big VLN summer party will be celebrated following the 33rd RCM DMV Grenzlandrennen in the Eifel village ‘Green Hell’.
On 25th of September, former DTM cars will return to the Nordschleife on occasion of the Touring Car revival during the 42nd ADAC Barbarossapreis. The VLN will present a look at a wider picture on 16th of October when the upcoming talents of the North European Formula Renault 2.0 will have their season final at the Nürburgring.
