After their baptism of fire at the endurance racing championship Nürburgring, the ten crew members of the Team OPC Race Camp participated in a winter fitness camp at Saalfelden in Austria to be well prepared for the 24 Hour Race. The test in the area of Greater Salzburg comprised a wide range of exercises, including all elements necessary for competing successfully in motor sport events: force and endurance, coordination and quickness as well as concentration, mental stability and also team spirit.

In addition, winter sport disciplines such as snow hiking, cross-country skiing, biathlon, Alpine skiing and ice karting were on the training programme. The activities were completed by an extensive diagnostic of performance. The further schedule in the preparation to the 24 Hour Race includes a test under racing conditions to take place in February at the Spanish track of Monteblance. This will be followed by two test participations at the endurance racing championship Nürburgring. The race at the Nürburgring Nordschleife will then follow on the calendar and takes place between 13th and 16th May 2010a
