Another season with a very busy schedule has now started for Uwe Alzen. In addition to his engagement in the Porsche Carrera Cup, the race driver from Betzdorf will also take part in the VLN Langstreckenmeisterschaft and in the 24h Race at the Nürburgring with his spectacular BMW M3 GT2 in the season 2010.
It was in November last year already that the participation in the works BMW M3 GT2 was initiated. After a quick agreement, it was confirmed that apart from the engagement in the 24 Hour Race at the Nürburgring, he will also enter races of the VLN Langstreckenmeisterschaft. The BMW M3 GT2 is prepared and serviced by the long-time test and development team of Schnitzer Motorsport.
“I am really very happy that BMW offers me the possibility to race in a work’s car again”, says Alzen. “I have known the Team Schnitzer since long and I am really looking forward to cooperate with them. I am highly motivated and will try to do all my best in all the races.”
