The BFGoodrich Langstreckenmeisterschaft Nürburgring will this year again be present at the Essen Motor Show with a comprehensive programme including information, show and entertainment. From 27th of November – the preview and press day – till 6th of December, all kinds of information on the season 2010 will be available for participants and fans in hall 6, booth 21-14.
On an area of more than 120 square metres, the most popular endurance racing championship will present the series in hall 6 with three spectacular race cars. In addition to the champion car, the BMW 325 of the team Black Falcon, the new Rowe Porsche as well as the Kissling-Corvette will be presented at the booth. The programme also includes competitions and prize draws, autograph sessions and interesting pieces presented by the VLN partners. In addition to the calendar 2010, the special edition of the VLN Racing News, free of charge, includes a comprehensive seasonal review with fascinating photos. The Regulations 2010 will be distributed to the participants so that they have all the necessary information for next season.
Apart from the main booth, the endurance racing championship will also be present in show hall 7 which was introduced in 2008. The complete variety of VLN merchandising articles will be available at the VLN fan shop, partly at special rates. A highlight of the collection is the brand new annual DVD which, with a duration of 156 minutes, offers an extensive review onto the season 2009. Probably nobody will miss the 36 square metres large booth due to the eye-catching Frikadelli-Porsche of Sabine Schmitz and Klaus Abbelen. Racing driver Sabine Schmitz will also frequently be present at the booth.
At the prime time of the day, between 12:10 and 12:50 hours daily, more than ten cars of the endurance racing championship will attract attention on the showground. In addition to the original racing cars, the safety intervention cars which are provided by the Audi car dealer of Kempen will make a show. The visitors themselves are invited to take part in tyre change competitions.
