The endurance racing championship organiser VLN is happy to announce the first new partner for the 2010 season of the BFGoodrich Langstreckenmeisterschaft Nürburgring even before the season final on 31st of October. Uvex belongs to the leading companies regarding protection in the field of work and offers customised products for motorsport which considerably increase drivers’ and team members’ safety.
“We welcome Uvex most cordially amongst our partners”, says VLN Managing Director Robert Rust. “Especially in view of the global financial and economic crisis, we are very happy to be able to announce already today the new cooperation for the season 2010. The commitment of Uvex demonstrates that we are on the right track with the development of the endurance racing championship at the Nürburgring and that we offer a very good platform for industrial enterprises. I am convinced that we will have a very close cooperation with Uvex in the future – also with the thought in mind to further increase safety in motorsport. It is due to the continuous motivation of companies such as Uvex that accidents in motorsport in the recent past mostly got off lightly for all involved.”
“The endurance racing championship represents for us a perfect field for presentation purposes”, says Sandy Grau, Head of Sports Marketing Automotive. “In this most popular racing championship of Europe, we can address both privateers and professionals and supply them on-site with the latest race wear.” From the Essen Motor Show beginning of December, the company’s logo will be integrated into all public presentations of the endurance racing championship.
