In different qualification stages, education and practice sessions, nine men and one woman out of 22.000 applicants have qualified at the OPC Race Camp and are eligible to participate in the BFGoodrich Langstreckenmeisterschaft Nürburgring. Their common target is the start at the 24 Hour Race Nürburgring in the year 2010. “The participation in the endurance racing championship is not only a requirement to obtain the race driver’s licence grade C but also a perfect preparation for the 24 Hour Race next year”, says OPC Race Camp Manager Manuel Reuter. “In addition, these championship races reflect the conditions which prevail at a 24h race quite well as our team will have to fight against the same vehicles and competitors.”
