Paul Hulverscheid from Wipperfürth, long-time participant in the BFGoodrich Langstreckenmeisterschaft Nürburgring, has passed away at the age of 59 years last Thursday from the result of a sudden heart attack. “Our thoughts are with his family to which we wish to express our sincere condolences”, says VLN Managing Director Robert Rust. “With Paul Hulverscheid, we are loosing a long-time member of our VLN family and a popular example in racing.” In his active time, Hulverschied was one of the most successful drivers in the endurance racing championship. During his motor sport career in this championship, he scored 51 class wind and four overall victories.
