With two races in June and two places amongst the top ten of the VLN production cars up to 2.5 litres cubic capacity, the WGB Racingteam around Benjamin and Daniel Sorg, with Martin Gaus completing the team, had its comeback following their break after the 24h Race.
The team which is based in Wuppertal could thus once again demonstrate their extraordinary reliability and collect important points for various championships for which the results achieved at the races of the BFGoodrich Langstreckenmeisterschaft Nürburgring are eligible. So Benni and Daniel are for example currently commonly shown into first position of the club championship organised by the BMW Wuppertal and into sixth position of the championship comprising the whole ADAC Nordrhein.
The 6h Race is scheduled to take place on 18th July and further improvements are possible. Benjamin Sorg’s comment: “After our excellent result with the second position achieved in the rain, we must now also score a place amongst the top 3 in the dry.”
