The twins Dennis and Marc Busch are currently to be seen as the ultimate benchmark in the Seat Langstrecken Challenge which is part of the endurance racing championship at the Nürburgring. However, it was this time not just a walk in the park for the two brothers. Mario Koch, Thomas Gerling and Harald Hennes gave the championship leaders a hard time, and the Busch brothers in addition even dropped considerably back after an accident. They nevertheless pulled themselves together and fought their way back to the top, also benefiting from the retirement of the strong Seat driven by Hennes, Koch and Gerling. Mike Jäger, this time supported by guest driver Ed Nicelife, also suffered some smaller problems and thus, too, had no chances against the twins.
With his second place, he secured his position directly behind the brothers who are now in a clear lead with 25.41 points.
