The BFGoodrich Langstreckenmeisterschaft Nürburgring had a brilliant start into the championship season 2009 with the 56th ADAC Westfalenfahrt last weekend. One of the premium features on the new official website which was presented in February will especially gain in importance just in time for the start of the season: On each Monday after the races, a round-up of the action will be shown in the new Online-TV under www.nuerburgring-langstrecken-serie.de.
The about three minute clips will be presented by the main sponsor BFGoodrich, the naming partner of the most popular race series in Europe since 2001. The summaries will be produced by the long time TV partner of the VLN, Wige Media AG which is based in Cologne.
”We are very proud that with the new Online-TV we are now also present in a very promising segment”, says VLN Managing Director Robert Rust. “The BFGoodrich Langstreckenmeisterschaft Nürburgring thus offers an extraordinary service for its true fans which is unique on this high level of popular racing.”
”As main sponsor and naming partner of the BFGoodrich Langstreckenmeisterschaft Nürburgring, we are of course highly interested in having an appropriate TV coverage of the series”, says Heike Graef, responsible for Car, Truck and Commercial Vehicle Tyres sponsoring in the Michelin Group for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. “Hence, we are very happy that apart from the detailed reports in DSF, we can now also present the online clips on the official website, and the first ones as early as on each Monday after the races.”
Apart from the own Online-TV, the BFGoodrich Langstreckenmeisterschaft Nürburgring will in 2009 also be shown on TV. The main project will be five 30 minutes long reports in the channel Deutsches SportFernsehen (DSF). Starting in May, this coverage will be completed by clips on the news channel n-tv. Additional TV transmissions are currently under negotiations.
Broadcasting times of the DSF reports: 25 April (13:30 – 14:00hrs), 20 June (18:45 – 19:15hrs), 25 July (13:15 – 13:45hrs), 10 October (18:30 – 19:30hrs), 7 November (18:30 – 19:00hrs).
