Yuki Tsunoda confirms participation at the Red Bull Formula Nürburgring 2023

The 23-year-old Scuderia AlphaTauri driver Yuki Tsunoda will contest the Red Bull Formula Nürburgring at the 12h Nürburgring on 9 September 2023 in a HONDA NSX GT3 Evo. He will thus join the already legendary line-up as a current F1 driver. Motorsport fans can look forward to breathtaking show runs at the season highlight of the Nürburgring Endurance Series.

Alongside Formula 1 stars such as Daniel Ricciardo and Sebastian Vettel, Yuki Tsunoda has now also confirmed his participation in the motorsport event of the year – the Red Bull Formula Nürburgring. “I’ve never raced at the Nürburgring so far, so I’m really looking forward to the event in September. I can’t wait to race there in the HONDA NSX GT3 Evo, an incredible car and a proven winning machine at the highest level of GT3 competition. I am aware that the Nordschleife is a legendary track. I already liked it really during the Gran Turismo video game,” says the young talent.
In 2020, Yuki Tsunoda finished in a sensational third place in the FIA Formula 2 Championship as part of the Red Bull Junior Team and Honda junior programme. In this impressive year, he collected enough points for a super licence and a place in the cockpit at the team of Scuderia Alpha Tauri. For the young Japanese, who has been watching kart races at the Nakai kart track in Japan with his father since the age of four, a dream has now come true.
