Rules for Spectators
Motorsport is and will always be dangerous. Therefore, there are also a number of rules for spectators at racing events to follow.
The Nürburgring Endurance Series offers hands-on motorsport. One ticket gives you free access to the paddock, the pit lane – as long as the engines are still – and the starting grid. It is important to follow the instructions of the security personnel in any case.
The danger areas around the Nordschleife are usually clearly marked. Should you nevertheless discover a loophole somewhere – please refrain from using it. For your own protection, always stay behind the security fences. The Nürburgring is located in the “Rhein-Ahr-Eifel” nature reserve. The Karussell, Wippermann and Brünnchen areas also border on a bird sanctuary. Driving on forest paths with motorized vehicles is prohibited, as is open fire or leaving rubbish behind.
The VLN asks all fans to set a good example. This is the only way to ensure that the relaxed atmosphere will continue to exist for everyone in the future.
