LöhrGruppe continues to focus on the Nürburgring Endurance Series

The LöhrGruppe will remain faithful to the VLN as a partner of the Nürburgring Endurance Series this year, too. The logo of the long-established automobile trading group with its headquarters in Koblenz will in 2023 also be seen on nine race intervention vehicles. “The VLN has maintained a close partnership with the LöhrGruppe since 2016 and we are delighted to see this continue,” says Michel Pathe, Managing Director of VLN VV GmbH & Co. KG.

Nine Audi Q3s are involved in the Nürburgring Endurance Series and provide valuable services with a view to safety as medical and intervention cars. “The Nürburgring-Nordschleife not only imposes special demands on man and material for the participants but the official race control vehicles also have to be up to the challenge of the Green Hell,” says Carsten Setzefand, Chief Safety Officer at the NLS races. “In this respect, the vehicles of the LöhrGruppe have definitely served us very well in the past years.”
Five medical cars are deployed around the Nordschleife to take medical personnel within minutes to where they are needed while the race is in progress. The equipment in the vehicle includes FIA medical bags, medical first-aid bags, aids for stabilising the spine, a defibrillator, fire extinguishers as well as rescue and recovery tools.

Four intervention cars secure hazardous track sections in the event of an emergency. They can be used, for example, to protect damaged vehicles during recovery. The vehicles are, among other things, equipped with fire extinguishers and extinguishing blankets, binding agents and leaf blowers for cleaning accident sites as well as tools for recovery.
With currently 35 car dealerships of the Volkswagen, VW Commercial Vehicles, Audi, Porsche, Škoda, Seat and Cupra brands at 14 locations in Rhineland-Palatinate, North Rhine-Westphalia and Hesse, the LöhrGroup is one of the largest automobile dealership groups in Germany.
