Provisional timetable for the 12H Nürburgring is set

The 12h Nürburgring on 9 and 10 September will be the highlight of the Nürburgring Endurance Series season. The big attraction there will be the Red Bull Formula Nürburgring with prominent race drivers such as Sebastian Vettel and Daniel Ricciardo, driving Formula 1 cars around the Nordschleife on Saturday. On both days, a six-hour race of the NLS will take place. The special feature is that on Saturday, for the first time in the history of the long-established Nordschleife championship, the longest Nürburgring circuit variant will be used, consisting of the complete Grand Prix circuit and including the AMG Arena and Müllenbachschleife as well as the Nordschleife.

“The Red Bull Formula Nürburgring and two 6-hour races – fans can look forward to an unforgettable NLS weekend packed with spectacular action,” says Jacqueline Johann, Managing Director of VLN VV GmbH & Co. KG. “Especially on Saturday, there will be a programme packed with highlights. When Sebastian Vettel, Daniel Ricciardo and other motorsport heroes will thunder through the ‘Green Hell’ in spectacular race cars, goosebumps are pre-programmed.”

The Red Bull Formula Nürburgring is embedded in the schedule of the 63rd ADAC ACAS Cup on 9 September. The NLS qualifying will take place from 8 to 9:40 am. Afterwards, the action will move to the Müllenbachschleife from 10:30 am to 02:30 pm. The history-charged Formula 1 show runs on the Nordschleife will also take place in this time slot. The detailed programme will be announced shortly. After that, the 63rd ADAC ACAS Cup will start at 03:30 pm. The finish is at 9:30 pm. The 62nd ADAC Reinoldus endurance race on Sunday will then follow the familiar NLS schedule with practice from 08:30 to 10 am. The starting lights will turn green at 12 noon. The regular NLS variant with short circuit and Nordschleife will then be run.

In the Grand Prix paddocks of the Nürburgring, Remmo Niezen, Marc Vissers, Rohan van Riel will show their skills on both days during the Falken Driftshow. Passenger rides are available for a monetary donation of which one hundred per cent will go into the NLS’s big officials’ and marshals’ party on 23 September.
