Sebastian Vettel on the legendary Nordschleife in the RB7 at the Red Bull Formula Nürburgring

Four-time Formula 1 World Champion Sebastian Vettel will drive one of his championship-winning cars for a show run on the legendary Nordschleife as part of the 12h Nürburgring (9-10 September). In addition to Daniel Ricciardo, the 35-year-old from Heppenheim has thus been announced as the second top star of the Red Bull Formula Nürburgring to enhance this year’s season highlight of the Nürburgring Endurance Series.

Vettel, who claimed four consecutive Formula One world titles with Red Bull from 2010 to 2013, is closely connected to the Nürburgring. In 2013, he took his first Grand Prix victory at the Eifel circuit. Ten years later, he is now back to face the challenge of the ‘Green Hell’. And his world champion car has a special feature: The RB7 is being converted to run on e-fuels especially for this event. Vettel thus wants to set an example: “Motorsport is my passion. It is important for me to demonstrate that race cars can run just as well and fast on synthetic, i.e. CO2-neutral fuel. And that already today!”

At the Red Bull Formula Nürburgring that will be held at the beginning of September, legendary stars from the world of motorsport on two and four wheels are expected in the Eifel. Impressive show runs, stars to touch and F1 racers on the longest race track in the world. Combination weekend tickets for the Red Bull Formula Nürburgring and the 12h Nürburgring are available for 59 Euros (children up to 14 years 29 Euros), day tickets Saturday for 39 Euros (children up to 14 years 29 Euros). These tickets take you to the event area in the Müllenbachschleife (Saturday only), to the open grandstands at the Grand Prix circuit, to the exclusive spectator areas Brünnchen and Pflanzgarten as well as to the paddocks, the pit lane, the starting grid and the motorsport experience museum ring°werk.
