The TMG GT86 Cup introduced for the year 2013 is causing quite a stir already before the first race to take place on 23rd March. The racing sports family is enthusiastic about the Cup which will be organised as a separate series within the VLN championship and the organisers succeeded in contracting famous sponsors right for this first season. With immediate effect, the participants will thus not only take advantage from the subsidised spare-part service and the high-performance tyres of Pirelli but also from a registration fee reduced by 40 percent.
„We have decided to pass this success down to the drivers and to thus invest an important part of the sponsor contribution to reduce the registration fee for each participant by 1,000 euro“, informs Sebastian Janssen, TOYOTA Motorsport Business Development Manager. Any driver wishing to participate in the VLN series in one of the fantastic race cars of the type GT86 CS-V3 must hence only pay 1,500 euro per season to enjoy the magic of driving at the Nordschleife.
In combination with the special conditions already communicated, the TMG GT86 Cup has thus finally become the probably most attractive series for rookies, also as the race car GT86 CS-V3 can be purchased at the amount of 45,815 euro already, inclusive of 19% VAT, and is available at short notice. If required, the parties interested may also use the cost-free service offered to link potential teams with drivers and vice versa.
The TMG GT86 Cup is exclusively for race cars of the type GT86 CS-V3 and runs within the popular VLN series at the Nürburgring. In addition to the fascination of driving at the Nordschleife, attractive prize money and non-cash prizes make the Cup particularly attractive.
