RSR Racing (formerly Bonnfinanz Motorsport) has launched the racing season 2010 with a glass of champagne in Andernach and presented the new RSR BMW M3 E46 CSL in the new livery to the public . Many invited guests and friends, as well as sponsors and the media attended the ceremony. They got not only an impression on the functioning of the team but also answers to all of their questions .
The welcome speech by the management over a glass of champagne and the presentation of the team by team manager Dieter Rövenich as well as the subsequent statements by the drivers Oliver Rövenich and Thomas Brügmann encouraged the guests to ask many questions. In particular team engineer Alexander Harsche had to stand up to questioning again and again and give answers onto details of the car which has been perfectly prepared by Bonk motorsport from Münster under the direction of Michael Bonk. This is already the sixth year of cooperation with the BMW specialists from Westphalia.
RSR Racing, class winner in 2004, 2005, 2007 and multiple group winner of the series production class V5, will compete in the 2010 season of the VLN Langstreckenmeisterschaft Nürburgring and probably also start at the 24h Race in which they won their class in 2006 and finished into a sensational 11th overall position in 2007. The third driver remains to be confirmed. \”We are not at all under pressure in this context and can take our time for the decision\”, informs the team manager.
