The team Rowe-Motorsport will celebrate a special premiere at the next round of the BFGoodrich Langstreckenmeisterschaft Nürburgring which will take place next weekend: The Palatinate racing team will for the first time participate in class Cup 3 with a Mamerow Porsche 911 GT3. The team has previously been racing in an Audi TT in class SP3T and in a BMW E46 M3 WTC in class SP6.

Drivers Marco Schelp and Alexander Roloff will drive the Porsche at the 33rd DMV 250-Meilen Rennen and certainly try to put a lot of pressure onto their competitors. Schelp, who normally drives the BMW E46 M3 WTC of Rowe-Motorsport or the Z4 Coupé of Dörr-Motorsport, is really looking forward to his participation in the Porsche: “It has always been a dream of my youth to drive a Porsche. Each professional driver should at least once in his life drive a Porsche in a race – Porsche just is THE Myth!”

It had been an easy decision for Rowe-Motorsport team manager Michael Zehe to enter the Porsche for his team this time: “The reliable and intensive servicing of a race car takes a lot of time which we simply don’t have. With Mamerow-Racing, we are in good hands in all respects – after all, Porsche and Mamerow-Racing stand for speed and reliability. In addition, quick drivers are really enthusiastic about racing in a Porsche.”
