The VLN will be speeding up in Essen

When the Essen Motor Show opens its doors for the 52nd time from 30 November to 8 December (Preview Day: 29 November) for sports car fans, tuners, motor sports enthusiasts and classic car fans, the VLN Endurance Championship Nürburgring is also a must. The worldwide largest grassroots series can traditionally be found at the Essen Motor Show in Hall 5 (Stand 5A10), opposite of the Nürburgring stand.

At the VLN stand on the premises of this festival of horsepower, there will be the chance to get a close look to no less than the BMW M240i Racing, the car of the newly crowned champions Yannick Fübrich and David Griessner of the Pixum Team Adrenalin Motorsport. The BMW M6 GT3 from ROWE Racing, which will also be exhibited there, will provide a feast for the eyes. Anybody wishing to take the wheel himself can prove his talent at the race simulators of the Nürburgring eSports Lounge.

As Europe’s leading trade fair for sports cars with more than 500 exhibitors, the products presented at the Essen Motor Show range from sports cars over tuning & lifestyle up to motor sports and classic cars. Entertainment will also be provided at the DMAX Motorsport Arena in Hall 4, where the VLN will also be going to speed up. Amongst others, the VLN champions Fübrich/Griessner will perform demonstration laps with their race car. Jasmin Preisig and Benjamin Leuchter, the drivers of the Max Kruse Racing team, will also be there as guests, just as VLN drivers Karsten Krämer (Ginetta G55 GT4) and Kevin Wolters (Renault Megane RS). At the VLN stand, there will later moreover be the possibility to get an autograph from the favourite pilot (see schedule).

The VLN raffles off attractive speed prizes

No celebration without prizes. There is of course also something to win at the VLN stand on the Essen Motor Show. Every day, the fans can take part in the lottery on site and win a ride in the BMW M240i race taxi of Adrenalin Motorsport, VIP tickets for the Nürburgring and the ROWE lounge, a VLN weekend in a Lindner hotel, an annual membership in the VLN fan club or a ride as passenger in the corso of the Porsche Club Nürburgring. A special highlight is the possibility to experience a VLN race in the eSports Lounge of the Nürburgring for a total of four people, including hotel accommodation for two nights.

Last but not least: True to the motto #VLNmeetsEMS, the VLN experts on site will be happy to answer in detail questions about the technology of the cars or about the VLN regulations. A brand new issue of the Racing News will also be available at the VLN stand, with many exciting magazine articles and with detailed reviews as well as previews. The provisional regulations for the 2020 season at the legendary Nordschleife will then also be online. If you are still looking for a Christmas present, you will definitely find the right present for your loved ones in the fan shop with the highly discounted collection. Moreover, a discount of ten percent, which will only be available in Essen, will be granted for a membership in the VLN Fan Club 2020.
