The second half of the VLN Langstreckenmeisterschaft Nürburgring season will start with a bang when a lot of activities will be going on around the 33rd RCM DMV Grenzlandrennen. After the end of the fifth round of the season, the big summer party organised by the VLN will take place in the Eifel village ‘Green Hell’.
The summer party will not only replace the yearly paddock party but it will also incorporate the party for marshals and officials. “We will party all together”, explains VLN Managing Director Robert Rust. “Whether fans, participants, marshals, officials, media representatives, partners and sponsors – everybody is cordially invited“
The combination of both events will result in an attractive entertainment programme which will start with the ‘Uedelhovener Dorfmusikanten’ enjoying with a folklore music concert. The variety of the presentations will also include the country band Crossfire and the highlight will certainly be the part of ‘Victor Smolski & Friends’. In addition to the MACHER of the well-known hard rock band Rage, track commentator Lars Gutsche will also touch the strings of a bass guitar. At the time of sunset, the performance of ‘fire dancer’ will definitely provide an additional impressive show.
The event will be appropriately completed by the presentation of the most spectacular VLN race cars on a special area and by the prizegiving ceremony for the Grenzlandrennen when the most successful drives will be honoured. Apart from the show, the casual come-together and the discussions all around motor sports will of course be in the focus of the event. There is no need to mention that there will also be plenty to drink and to eat.
Motor sport entertainment will smoothly follow on Sunday as the VLN race is part of the Nürburgring Performance Days during which the whole family can have a close look onto motor sports and actively take part in special events all around the Nürburgring and the Nordschleife.
